Has anyone ordered this book?

The End of the Zodiac Mystery: How Forensic Science Helped Solve One of the Most Infamous Serial Killer Cases of the Century

It's the e-book by Michael Wakshull, the document examiner who examined E.V. Best's writing for the Stewart-Mustafa book.

Interesting how this will turn out with the possibility some of the writing used wasn't the writing of the person this forensic evidence was based upon.

Yes, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I hope Mr. Wakshull does not come to rue the day he decided to work with Stewart and Mustafa.

Wakshall states

"In October of 2012, co-author Susan Mustafa contacted me, a forensic document examiner, armed with only four pieces of known writing, to see if I could help to determine if Gary’s estranged father, Earl Van Best Jr., could have been the unidentified Zodiac killer from the ’60s and ’70s.

Skeptical but willing, I collected all available samples from the suspect and the Zodiac. The case was not straightforward. A different document examiner had already told Susan there was not enough evidence."

If that sample of printing used (the Reno marriage certificate) is proven to be Reverend Fliger's printing and NOT Best Jr.'s, then Wakshall's whole analysis and "matching" Best's printing to that of the Zodiac Killer falls apart.

Reposting from the main thread.

Okay, here are the handwriting samples of Reverend Fliger from a book of church records.  These were sent to Mike99 from the secretary at the church in Reno where Best and Chandler were married and they are date appropriate.

Sure looks like Fliger filled out that marriage certificate! I did buy the e-book and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me. No need for other people to spend their money on it.

Just adding to the above...a continuation of seagull's post as provided by Mike99.

Now the book is available in paperback. Earlier when I got it, there was only the e-book version.
