Please feel free to ask your Zodiac-related questions here. (The ones that apply to me specifically.)

Hi Tom, From reading the Zodiac killer.com "About" page, it states you've been online since 1998. What year did you first become interested in the Zodiac case and why?
Also, I might have asked this before, have you ever been contacted by anyone that you suspected might be the Zodiac?

How about a good bio on yourself regarding your influence on the case, no one has done this yet, would you be in favor.

John Mikulenka did that with his film Hunting the Zodiac, I can't see ever topping it.

I caught the bug in 1995, and had several years of goodies ready to share by the time I went online.

Virtually every day someone tries to fool me, but I haven't bit yet. Played along a few times though.

On the other hand, I contacted quite a few suspects, including Marshall, Grant, KQ, Kane, etc.

Maybe I misunderstood. What exactly do you mean?

Before Gaikowski was a suspect, who did you think was the Zodiac?

What do you think were the chain of events that led up to the Zodiac doing his thing?

Why did he pick couples in the Vallejo area (if it was Gaikowski) and not some place closer to San Francisco?

Why did he stop - or did he?

*Initially Allen was my man. The first version of Zodiackiller.com debuted with two things the public had never seen: His face (1974 mugshot) and handwriting (1991 letter.) However, soon much of the incriminating-if-true information about him -- that I had been fed privately by someone we once all trusted -- began to crumble. By then, I had dug up lots of interesting circumstantial tidbits that kept me intrigued. In fact, by 2001/2002 there was a fever pitch in the media about Allen that resulted in ABC's "Primetime Thursday" show doing a DNA comparison that seemed to rule Allen out. What eliminated Allen in my mind was the negative 2003 writer's palmprint comparison to the Exorcist letter. If not for this site I don't believe any testing would have been done.

*If it was Gaikowski I have an idea. If not, then I don't.

*The only place in San Francisco that is reasonably safe to commit such a crime is near the Presidio, IMHO and Lake Herman Road is only a couple right turns away once on I-80.

*Zodiac was only Zodiac for 20 months. IMHO he stopped because he moved on, as if it were merely a phase in his life like many others we all experience. The notion serial killers can't stop on their own was proven false years ago.
