Recently I contacted Gary Stewart to ask him several questions that the Zodiac community have always pondered about and he kindly spent a long time answering every question I put to him in great detail. He was very generous with his time and seems a very nice man. I know people have their reservations about Earl Van Best being the Zodiac Killer, but he addressed every question comprehensively and I appreciate that. If you want to read his replies visit here:

"The overwhelming preponderance of evidence that my father was the Zodiac killer was substantial enough to convince me as well as Lt. Hennessey that I was right."

Lol, I'd like to see confirmation from Hennessey that he thinks Van Best jr. was the Zodiac, because I call bullshi*.

" If the Rev. Fliger in fact filled out the marriage certificate for my father and my mother, his handwriting looks very much like some of the Zodiac writing. However, there are other exemplars from my father that were compared to specifically excluding the marriage certificate that Mike Wakshull independently validated that he is completely remaining ‘virtually certain’ that my father authored the Zodiac letters."

Well, let's see the "other" handwriting of Van Best jr.

Also, lol at "virtually certain."

Stewart is probably a nice man, but to most of us he is simply mistaken.

Also, Wakshull declared the case was closed based on the writing on the marriage certificate. He cannot have it both ways.

Voigt,
What about the CSI form Hennessey submitted along with my buccal swabs to the SFPD Crime Lab? Isn't that prof enough considering he had been instructed to stop all spending and investigation into the Zodiac case...still he did it against orders? What more do you want Tom?

Who cares what was submitted? The results are all that matters.

Wait, you said you wanted proof Hennessey believed me! I delivered the proof in the CSI form filled out by Hennessey himself...you balking now? Stick with the topic Tom. By the way, I have the results!
Still standing!

I do want proof, which you have not provided. And even if you submitted something to him, which you have not proven you did, it means nothing without a match.

Tom, if you didn't read my book, I'll gladly forward the email from Hennessey sharing the CSI form with me. i didn't forge a SFPD CSI form. Didn't need to. Hennessey submitted it voluntarily! Enough already!

Oh my lord, yet another thread about "Dear Old Dad"

You should have let one of your kids (if you have any) write a book called "My Granddaddy Was Zodiac" because that's all that's missing from this mindfu*k

Seriously Gary, I'm sure you're a well meaning person and all, but you really need to go back to the Rotary Club Circuit and entrance the audiences of Elks Lodge attendees with your tale of woe.  I am right, aren't I Gary.  The Rotary Club, churches and Elks Lodges you speak to don't challenge you on anything, right?  It's all they can do to remember where their car keys are or if they took their heart medicine that morning!

Your father was a pedophile and that's crime enough without having to drag Zodiac into your narrative or vendetta or what have you...
