No prob, although the prints are not exactly a given, especially since the charges were dropped.

The article says he was fingerprinted, but yeah, that could have been an embellishment to make it sound like the arrest was a bigger hassle.
Zodiac was a liar. There's no reason to assume anything he said was true.

I know that, I meant even if he was, the fact that the charges were dropped over a minor hassle like that usually meant they were tossed later on.

Why does the headline say "Gyke" when inside the story they call him "Gaik"?

Because Gaik is short for Gaikowski. He never referred to himself as GYKE.
But you don't want to open up that can of worms here...

It has already been established that Gaikowski went by Gike, Gaik and Guyk. There's only one other spelling to get that. So Zodiac or not, the odds are overwhelming a "Gyke" spelling will turn up.

What then?

Well then I will stand corrected. And there will be a higher probability of GYKE meaning something in the 408 Cipher.

I-Love-You the letters GYKE are next to each other in the last part of the 408

There's a thread around here somewhere where I showed the examples of Gaik, Gike and Guyk...maybe I can find it and link to it.

He apparently spelt it "Guykowski" on one post somewhere, according to wood.
