Also: Any album by Pink Floyd from Umma Gumma to The Wall. And A Momentary Lapse of Reason was excellent even without Waters. For a great guitar solo listen to Gilmore playing Comfortably Numb live.

In honor of recent passing, I submit a rare album by the great guitarist Bert Jansch- Avocet (1979)- jazzy, jammy celtic flavored instrumentals inspired by shorebirds, with Martin Jenkins on his trippy electric mandocello.

Seen John Fogarty several yrs. ago backing up the Eagles - great concert - very active on stage for a guy that's into his 60's
