While down at Temecula, I brought my USFT to drop off with Tim McMurray to address an alignment issue that I had. I figured he'd take it to the shop and ship it to me when he got done with it...

Nope, after the first match, Tim says "Tony, if you want, grab your gun and we can work on it now.." So I got to watch, and assist lightly, first hand Tim in action...needless to say he got it sorted and installed the laminated forearm that I had him make for me...now that I'm home, I put the rest of the parts back on it and sighted in at 25 yards...can't wait to get the rest of my numbers and knobs dialed in...next FT match is in 2 weeks and I plan on using this rig for the rest of the season!!!

Thanks again Tim!!!

Regards,

Tony

Guess you'll have plans to get some more blue laminate for the knee rest and thigh rest?

The blue is even better in person, honestly I was quite drawn to it and that would be my choice for colour. I think Tim said he'll be doing them in blaze orange and another colour too (I forget) which will look pretty cool too I think.

even offered to trade!!! The blue really POPS in person with light...

Yep, Tim said either Blaze/Burnt Orange and Olive Drab were coming out if I remember right...I would love to get a Carbine in O.D....

I just might get some more laminate to complete the look but its no rush at this point...The pieces used for cheek piece and forearm were scrap pieces that I got...

Tony

She really really really needs a nice Ti or anodized aluminum quick release replacing the old school chromed steel unit to complete the aesthetics though. It's a work of art for sure though.
