What Size Should I Use ?

I want to re-crown a .177 barrel. What size brass bolt ( 6, 8 or 10 ) should I use to get the closest to an 11 degree crown ? Thanks

For touching up the crown of a .177 barrel, a #6 brass round head screw works well. I drafted the following article on barrel troubleshooting and accurizing for folks with modest tools, and it has some tips on what to do and what not to do for the screw technique. https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/in ... pic=130555
