tah has been sitting in a gun shop for a couple years now. I was going to try to talk him down he wanted 500. I was going to offer 350, am I trying to rob him? Also he had a rws 24 I believe that someone had let the barrel go and it was bent up about 2 inches. He was going to let that go for 40 bucks, thought maybe rich could put a barrel on it for me. what do you guys think?

That is about $10 higher than the going rate. If it's been sitting there for a couple years then they'd certainly like to get rid of the gun. IMHO $350 would be a good deal on one, not ripping them off, but a rather good deal.

Oh, I'm assuming it's NIB. If not, then based on condition I'd say $350 would be at the top of the range.

I think I'm about right in my guesstimates, but let's see what everybody else says.

Best thing to do is to look at the classifieds and dealers' sites to figure going rates for the gun.

good luck

I just got one from Cabelas for $259, marked as "Discontiued".

I just put a BSA 3-9X50 IR Scope on it and it shoots sweet right out the box.

The trigger... as far a GAMO triggers go, mine is great, maybe the English influence hehe!

But $380 would be closer to a "normal" price.

I think there's quite a few people out there that'd pay more than $400 for one in .22.

Good luck with your price negotiations.

bought 4 or 5 1250's that I know of. I think its a crock that GamoUSA does not import these rugged, quality built, powerhouses anymore. I really can't say what a .22 is worth, but they will come on the market from time to time as there were about 8500 of them sold here in the .22 version. Good luck.

Ken, you say you have 3 of them? Do you have one in .177 cal.? If you do what weight of pellets do you use in that gun? Thank you very much for any info you have.

For $40.00 I'd grab it and bend the barrel myself. Search "barrel bending" on the main forum. If barrel bending fails Pyramid has RWS parts available I think they have both lengths for the m24...
