I got a nice FT rifle...Walther LG300, that I would love to give it the stainless steel look (like the Daystate EV2). That means everything that is blued, including the cylinder, should be turned brushed chrome.
I've done this before to 1911 type of .45 cal pistols, but not to an air rifle. I'm afraid to take it to a regular gunsmith that won't know how to put the rifle back together. Any source that do this kind of work? I wonder if Mac1 would do it....hummmm....
1. have a good airgunsmith remove the barrel
2. have it chromed
3. have a good airgunsmith put it back together
maybe a good airgunsmith knows someone in his neighborhood who does plating--that would be a benefit.
