Finally let the CFX see 30 yards. The rifle did fine, the operator didn't do so well!

The first target is shot after doing the 30 yard V-set. The target is the 10 yard x 15. Five shots per target. Each bull had one pellet shot into it until all six where complete and the set was started over.

Chris remind me to ask you for your CFX tune recipe at the end of this v-match. Where you shooting sitting at this range too?

I didn't change anything from the 10 yard to the 30 yard but the sights. I shot the 10 yard at 12x and the 30 yard at 16x.

I am shooting from a sitting position with my front hand supported.

Hope to see more entries so we all can see what makes the best configuration.

Chris you will see more posting of V-Targets over the next two days. Lon is asking that Saturday be the offical target posting day and the cut-off is Sunday 8PM-Eestern.

Did I say Ken must be out shooting his targets? ...He is probably RE-SHOOTING after seeing your posting LOL -

What optics do you have on top of that gun?

I really haven't studied the scoring system to see how I did. I just know that Lon has really been pushing the envelope on the V-target group. I think the idea is great. We all should learn something from the results of the scores.

I haven't been shooting adult air rifles long enough to know up from down. I didn't even know that they existed until a few months ago. I thought they were what I bought my boys when they were younger. Actually, I bought the CF-X to get fish bait.

I really enjoy my CF-X. The tune really changed the whole rifle.

The scope is a Leapers 4-16x56 30mm AO Mil-Dot.

Did you enjoy your trip?

Are you going to fire for effect starting tomorrow?

to shoot tonight (I set up lights) as the wind is still, but the other part of me says I'm getting tired. Maybe tonight or in the AM. My targets will be 15T at 15, 20, 30 and 40 yds. We'll see. If I shoot tonight I'll use the picnic table and a rag to rest my left hand on. If I wait til the AM will shoot prone and sitting. The gun seems to be shooting like I want now- went back to the Gamo one piece mount.
