I read on another post that you can load 2 live 12g carts by inserting the second one backwards will this damage the piercing pin on the cap? Sounds easier than making a dummy cart as long as the cap pin doesn't pay the price. Thanks Tim A.

Don I only want to use 1 cart sometimes I don't feel like shooting 40 or 50 shots. I just want to make sure that the one I put in backwards doesn't mess up the pierce pin on the tube cap. I also read you can make a dummy cart and fill it with calk to take up the air space but just flipping a cart sounds easier as long as the pierce pin doesn't get damaged. Tim A.

Requires filling the used one with something like caulk or epoxy (making a dummy cart) so the used one doesn't fill up with gas when the fresh one gets punctured . I believe it was Steve in NC that posted instead of doing the dummy cart just flip the last cart so the butt is facing the cap pin when sounds easier than making a dummy cart as long as the flipped cart doesn't damage the piercing pin. Do you follow me? Thanks Tim A.

... cut to the length of a CO2 cart. The wood is soft enough so that the cap pin is not damaged when tightened down. Has worked for years for me.

As long as it fits in the tube, and doesn't rattle around, I think you're good to go.
