Ok, how do I make this beast backyard friendly? Has a brake but it does nothing to quiet things down. 22 cal, 2800 fill.

..are several. Might start with TKO; there are other custom makers but have found TKO's to be good units for the $. Its not a standard unit for him, but he may be able to work something out.

My solution was to mount an LDC to the existing brake, but am handy about making such things. Works well, but has that odd two-stage look to it.

With a lighter striker, less preload, and no bounce, you'll fill to a lower pressure, get more accuracy, get more shots, and the gun will quiet down.Aim for 870 fps peak velocity.

Look up "the book"here in the archives..all you need to know about the B-50.

Yeah guys, Thanks for the info, have the book. Don't feel comfortable doing some of the mods. Gun was filled to 2800. It is as loud as a 22 lr.
This is a Big Ed stage 2 rifle. So I think it has had some of the mods done.
Trigger is very smooth and fairly light. Guessing about 3-3.5 #.
didn't chrony it but it is pretty hot.
Mike at TKO says they can't supply an LDC to fit this gun.
Will have to try Neil.

I tried Mr.TKO also got the same answer as you did, But Mr. Neil said he could make one for me. He is a little worked right know but I think he will place you on his book if you can stand the wait( not to long ) but just email him to see what he has going. His a honest guy.

have a everyone what to know question for you, that's if you don't mind me asking? Did you recently get the stage 2 B50 from Mr. BigEd or have you had it awhile?

Actually I had BigEd do this for me last year and am just getting to it.
I've been having some health issues that slowed me down.

Anyone know what the deal is with an airgun LDC.
Are they legal or not. Seems many have their own opinion and the
Gov. boys have their opinion. Their opinion can get very costly if they want
to push the issue. Do these have to be welded to the barrel of the AG.
I have a b-50 and a B-51 and would like to swap between the two. I don't want to do anything that would have my collection confiscated. I try to stay totally legal, have worked too hard to lose all I've worked for.
Your thoughts please.
