Who wants to take bets that this is a publicity stun, a "look at poor me maneuver" "Big bad Steve put me out of busines" and it's working for feeble minds.

If he indeed retires, he planned that before he decided he wants to screw this forum and its members.

If not, I bet you that this post is coming soon.

"I received 200 emails asking me not to quit, I love you people, I can't do this to you"

He just wants to draw traffic to that forum so bad, he is going to list his springs (not Maccari) and dadudas over there, not on his website.
They are relentless in skims, after the crosman forum owners told them to cut the **** they had to devise something else.

Beware of DaBigfish and disassemble your "Maccari" guns done before June 15th. He won't dare to screw you know, he is uncovered.

This is my story and I am sticking to it.

just how many of us are like me and have read almost every thread on this sad subject and still don't fully understand what the heck is going on. I've yet to read a post that objectively explains what exactly was done to who. It sounds like a springer thing and maybe that's why I don't understand any of it. Whatever it is, it must be pretty serious because it appears to be consuming the better part of some peoples lives.
Respectfully,
Ed

He only plays on people emotions and manipulates their good heart.
I know Jim and Jim wouldn't allow anybody to lie about that.

and that's just fine, because it really doesn't concern me anyway. All I'm going to say about the matter is how amazed I am at how much drama there always seems to be for this relatively small hobby or sport. Why is that?

sent him an order a week back for 3 hdd,s and a 22xx sear, not going to install them for a good while, wanted bob to feel more sanguine about his crosman aftermarket stuff. there's a market for that stuff and it makes sense he continues to be the distributor.
as far as tuning a gun goes, if necessary i'd do it myself, otherwise it would go to paul watts, jan kraner, ed k., or russ if he's in the mood. whatever skills bob has, it's worth the small price difference to have a top level guy do the work. still, it's important to have a guy who specializes in chinese guns, so that's a good niche as well.
behooves the tuna to have a thick skin and keep on keepin' on with the work, this time actually using jim's springs. he'll live.

comin' at you from the supply side
