Maybe you saw my thread over on the GTA, because those targets look familiar.

Everything I've read is folks doing stuff to finish the Crosman barrels. Polishing the rough crown, leade, inside. They just seem to be low quality barrels. I like the way the gun handles enough that I think I'm going to drop a few more bucks into it. (and stop buying Crosman products from now on)

My stock rested groups look just about like yours (a little bigger, as I was shooting @ 30) Not acceptable. Good enough to drill a squirrel at 10-15 yards, but not good enough to justify shooting a PCP, since even my cheap Summit shoots that well. ...and I wouldn't even feel comfortable taking a brain shot at 10 yards.

How hard is it to take the P-Rods apart? I changed barrels on my 2300T and lost the safety parts. When I separated the barrel/receiver assembly from the grip frame, they just flew out across the basement, never to be seen again.

It really can be done in minutes. I watched a youtube
video and it's quite simple from there. You don't have
to degas the gun. Just make sure the breech parts line
up dropping it back down and you are in accuracy heaven.

Much performance gain to be had with lighter hammers, better flowing valves, bigger transfer ports etc.. also. I have Tim Hill's parts in my .22 cal Armada and the difference is big. Getting 70+ shots @ 30fpe now on a single fill.
