I did some chrony test with the Presto! Gamo. Gamo 440 hunter with the super tune kit from Rich and new seal from JM. I used JSB exacts lites for the chrony work. 30 shot string.

Low - 915
high - 940
avg - 928

Had some pretty drastic variations during the string but most were in the high 920s and low 930s. I am guessing that the seal needs to break in little more. What do you guys think?

Your gun is shotting strong. It looks like after breakin it will shoot accurate. How many shots do you have through it?

How many do you think it would take to get her broken in. Accuracy is Ok, but I think once it settles in that it will get better. At least I hope it does. It sure has a nice firing cycle now. I love shooting it just for the feel.

Around 300+ it should start to shoot a good tight group. The Shadow Sport did that and it got much better after 900+.

It did this after 1000+ and it loves CPL's

Its a 2006 the new ones that Gamo came out with. The FPS is not bad for the stock setup. I also put a 3-12x44 BSA scope on it, but that it.

CPL Domes (7.9gr)

1-914.5fps
2-914.6fps
3-910.7fps
4-905.1fps
5-899.8fps
6-902.3fps
Avg= 907.8fps

It will settle down as you shoot it.

Do a 10 shot crony test and post them, it really don't look to bad so far. Seals are weird some seat right away some take a little longer.

Does your crony give the extreme spread and average devation ? if so whats the average devation ?

Stdrd deviation. I guess I could calculate if I could remember anything from my college stats class. I will do more chrony testing tomorrow along with more accuracy testing. By the way my Q-brake causes the groups to open up. Any suggestions?
