It finally stopped raining in southern CA after what seemed like forever. I got all my Christmas shopping done yesterday and decided to go shoot some ground squirrels at my friends 5 acre property today. I took both my tuned .22 Diana's; my Rob Hawkins tuned M54 and Paul Watts tuned M48. Got a personal record kill today with my M54 at 112 yards. Ended up getting 3 squeaks and a cotton-tail that was covered with fleas. Two other squirrels taken at 45 yard and the cotton-tail at 50 yards verified by my range finder. Going back tomorrow or Sunday...

Gotta love living out West for the variety of game we have to hunt!

Nice shooting!
