which is still just a bunch of metal pieces. I have used the old one for some time now and as I said before it does work very well but the design limits it to the size of the frame you make. This new design is very well thought out and is only limited to the size of the base which is mounted on your compound mount. I really like this one and I am going to build it as I get the time. I already started making chips on this one but the metal was too small that I started with and I did not realize how much until I mounted it on the lathe. So I bought a new piece and still have not started with that part yet. I may be starting a new build very soon of a Carving Duplicator for a gunstock. I will try to find my digital camera while I wait for you to get back to me....

how do you like it? I think it looks like a very good design. You sure did a nice job of building it. I think that I am going to try to use a homebuilt cutter that way I can make it as wide or as narrow as I need it to be.
