I'm shooting CP hollow points 14.3. Seem not to get any good groups at 25 yards any suggestions? I'm brand new with my .22 Marauder 2800 psi down to 2000. Any pellet suggestions? I hear CP pointed group well??? Thanks for help. Kip.

Try JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbos (15.9). In fact just about any JSB pellet shoot well in both my Discovery and Marauder.

I got my 22 Marauder in March while in Florida and have only been able to shoot it for the last three weeks after getting back home to upstate New York. The gun shot eccellent with CP ultra-mags and Discovery hp that came with the gun. I found that the Dicovery pellets shot just slightly better than the CPs with both beyond my expectations for the gun. I did not change any factory settings or do any cleaning of the barrel. After about 200 rounds I started to get occational fliers and now after 700 rounds is shooting worse. I cleaned the barrel and baffels and seemed to help but lasted only a short while. I tryed shooting single shots without the clips but does not help. I will just have to keep looking to see if I can see what changed on the gun because I know it can shoot Dicovery and CP pellets.

JSB RS 13.43g and Benji HP 14.3g pellets. You will just have to try different pellets to see which ones your gun likes. I took a large cardboard box put it 20 yards away and shot different pellets at different stick-on targets. Was amazed to see how each pellet performed so differently. Funny, mine likes JSB RS pellets but doesn't like the 15.9g JSBs!

I found CPHP's in the tin were not uniform. About half were tight in my Benjamin Trail XL and half were loose. They shoot like different pellets so I had to sort them. I did not measure with calipers as it was pretty clear which were tight or loose. I found the loose ones shot a lot better. Maybe you can try sorting them if you bought a bunch of them. Otherwise maybe move on to JSB's or other pellets with a better uniformity. I have found JSB's to be uniform.

The final two pellets I have settled on for the best accuracy in my 22 MRod are the Predators and the Beeman field target specials. They seem to fit a bit tighter in the clip and I have tried approximately 20 different types of pellets.

It sounds like your Marauder is doing the same thing mine is. It was shooting great, now after many rounds the same pellet does not seem to work.

Strange.

Blessings,
