Hi folks. I'm going over a QB78 for a friend, what I need to know is if any of you have some type of optical sight on your gun that doesn't mount over the loading port?
My friend has huge hands, that have lost some of their dexterity and has a real hard time trying to feed pellets into the loading port with a scope in place.
Thanks

I have a scope a mdl U.A.G. 4 x 30 on a utg conversion mt from 11 mm to weaver mts. it is offset towards the rear of the gun and will keep the scope in back of the loading port. Howie PS I got the scope and mts on ebay .

This is one of the offset mountshttp://cgi.ebay.ca/25mm-Double-Ring-Sco ... 5adc235d9e
There are also red dot sights that would fully mount behind the loading port without
straddling it.

He has a scope. What he now wants is something other than a scope, that will mount aft of the loading port, and leave it completely unobstructed.

Then one of the small red dots would be the way to go

This sight offers 4 different reticule styles in both red and green.

A mini dot site would workhttp://cgi.ebay.ca/REFLEX-MICRO-RED-DOT ... 4aa4b918cd something like this would mount
on the rear of the reciever and leave the loading port fully exposed .It has no
magnification but eye relief is not an issue.

I have ra real bad in my hands so I went to a new breach and a mag setup.
I love it. I have a 025 cal m-rod and after getting it I went right to the mag setup for my qb78. Now I can use any scope and high mounts.

Not a QB rifle but I put this Millett SP-2 red dot sight on my Crosman 2300KT gun and cleared the port issue easily.Could possibly work on the QB.
