The weather was fantastic. 80F with about a 5 mph wind that would constantly shift directions. reading the wind became the name of the game on Saturday at Cordova shooting center near Sacramento. the course was set to a 30T and with wind made it around a 36T. with tiny kill zones and a variety of long shots made for a challenging day on the course shooting knock down targets with our pellet guns.
Mike C shot incredibly well ousting Craig and Marty by a margin. both and Marty and Mike cleaned the forced position lane and Craig showed em all he can shoot the first time on the course. nice shooting gents!
Cold sandwiches were served with juicy tomatoes, and onions and cheddar cheese along with cold drinks.
Ronnie E gave a mini class to shooters after lunch showing a proper kneeling position and wind hold based off ballistic software on a 5 mph cross wind, and how to manipulate ones chart numbers to coincide with what shooters are experiencing on the course. it gives shooters something to think about on the way home and after. everyone seemed to have enjoyed it and gave positive feed back.
Thank you all for attending. another great turn out.
