$320 at Cabelas. That caliber is getting hard to find in a Gamo, but i think the 48 for $320 is a good deal.

i got my 48 for $263 in the bargainbasement, they knocked that much off the price because it had a couple specks of rust on the barrel, lol.

ours is not to question why, ours is but to do or die.

well guy i did find a 890 in 22 cal http://www.airgunexpress.com/Gamo_Rifle ... 8-7022.htm but its only putting out 750 fps im mostly looking for long range like 40 to 65 mabey even 70 yards. is that crazy?? from what what iv been reading some of you guys soot 100 yards with a air gun! iv never even thought of it. there is alot im still learning and stuff. x-mas is still along way away so.... who knows. i thought about the cf-x but its only in 177 cal right?? but from what read on this forum (by the way the best iv found) that the have very good accuracy.

Can you get a PCP these days for under $300? I think the talon is around $400, and that's just for the rifle. If you are going to get a PCP in my opinion, I would plan on spending at least $700-$1200 on it.

Ya 50 yards is about the max for a magnum springer in.177
a bunch less with a .22 pellet.
Besides the.22 has the trajectory of a punted football after 25 yards.
Gamo says 750 fps nope more like 670's that would be a lot closer.

so do you think i should get 177 cal then? im wanting to do some 50-60 yar shots or do i have to spend a ungodly amount of $$$$ and get a pcp to shot that far.
