Hello all,

Finally got tired of Leo Duran hounding me all the time to get a spring gun and shoot springer-class FT with him. Earlier today I purchased this rig from a very nice gentleman in N. TX. It is a tuned HW 97k in a Corcoran stock. It came with a Hawke scope, but I think I will prefer this Bushy 8-32x.

I doubt that I will get into springer-class that much, but I think this rifle will be a good way to get my feet wet in this class. Should be fun...

purchase and getting involved with spring FT shooting. I just bought a Lazaglide tuned HW 97K that I am putting together to have a go at spring class as well. I am waiting on a stock from Custom Stocks in the UK to complete it. After practicing with it for the past two days, I have new found respect for the guys who accurately shoot spring guns past thirty five yards at the small kill zones that we use in FT....it is proving to be quite a challenge for me. I am having fun at it and I hope that you will too.

Cheers!

I hope it shoots as good as it looks. Certainly have no reason to think otherwise, so far anyway.

Please put up a pic or two of your rifle once you get the stock you ordered.

Congrats. It should be a nice change of pace.
BTW, Mike & Ron already have springers, so maybe others will be compelled to join in on the fun!

Enjoy!
