Just about the time you get your Discovery right where you want it, someone re-invents the wheel and forces you to spend $500.00 to get what you wanted in the first place... sigh...

This rifle should be a hell of a performer if Benjamin did their homework. Anybody want to buy a .177 Discovery? sigh...

It looks really good but, why so much weight.
A whopping 7.8 pounds before rings and scope.
Even more if you want a sling on it.

barrel shroud plus riser breach and a rubber but pad looks like it all adds 2 pounds to this rifle.well I was going to get a BSA ULTRA multi-shot but it looks like I just might have to go for this one!

I was ready to buy an AA410 but think I'll try one of these first. Could always sell it later if I don't like it and get the AA.

I also had the Discovery - they are far, far apart.

Unless the new one is a really good one, much better then the Disco - I would go BSA.

And - I really like the Disco.
