Got my 25 finally. I have not played with the settings. out of the box the gun is set up by the factory for 8 shots then it dies off suddenly. I have my crony at 10 feet and the target at 10 yards to start. After getting the scope ( Bug-Buster 3x9x32 )setup right all is good. 3,000 fill and 8 shots.

So it's good for 8 shots from the factory. Just changing the pressure I wanted to see if I could get 16 good shots out of it. and the answer is yes if you have a carbon fiber tank.

I backed it up to 16 yards ( the limit in my basement ) and re-sighted in. The gun with these two pellets is hole in hole. I know upping the pressure is not going to sit well with some folks but I wanted to know if I could get the 2 clips I wanted this way. I will do the necessary adjustments later for less air pressure and shorter strokes. For now out of the box you get 8 shots.

On another note. The sound the 25 produces is compared to 4 pumps in an old Sheridan Blue Streak plus a long annoying Piinnggg. I know because I have one and shot them side by side. The 22 MROD is equal to one pump in the Sheridan. This is a true comparison that someone thinking about a 25 MROD can do to see if you would rather have the 22. Stick a pellet in the Blue Streak and shoot 1 and 4 pumps and see which one you need.

The 25 is going to fit my needs just right. I need that extra boost it has to offer. But if you need dead quiet and super flat trajectory with a bunch of shots stick with the 22 cal. Hope this helps someone on the fence about which one to get.

Thanks,

Kevin

862 avg over 16 shots with JSB 25.4

Hows your mag fit? Mine needed some adjustment of the shroud mount and barrel.

Is yours an April production???

Yes my mag is snug. Mine is an April production. I love this gun, but like I said, it has low shot count. For what I bought it for I don't need 30 shots though.

Hey Tom,

That's great. Yeah luck of the draw is right. 2 clips on a 3,000 fill is awesome. I am very happy that I have a good shooter. Can't wait to try it at 50 yards.

Hey Tom,

My 4 tins of JSB Kings came in today so I can now do all my adjusting. But it was cool to know I could get 16 shots that way.
