I have a .177 mrod, it is leaking where the foster fitting screws in to the fill adaptor. I tried to use teflon tape on the threads but the tape keeps backing up on the threads of the foster fitting so it woun'nt seal. I contacted crosman and they sent me a new foster fitting and that one leaked too. Can anyone here help me fix this problem.

<p>I had the same problem.  Reduce the amount of tape you are using till the leak stops.  You are talking about thousandths of an inch, so it doesn't take much.</p><p>If that fails to work, you might want to go with a liquid like Loctite, but use the removable version.</p><p> </p><p>Hepotter</p>
