What Gamo rifle would stand out above the others. I think the CFX would be the best out of all of them. Accuracy, Accuracy, Accuracy.

i have a Real Tree Hunter w/ a Splash custom guide/top hat/Tarantula spring.
with a little transfer port mod and a Tesla Seal.
and a CP 4-16x40, and a UTG adapter rail.
what a ride, it feels like the spring isn't even there.
she can stack Beeman Kodiak Extra Heavy Match out to 35 yrds.

Only Gamo worth owning is the 1250/ HE which is a BSA design.

BSA made 1250 with Steve's trigger and a much nicer stock available in .177, .20, .22, and .25.

but I haven't seen too many Gamos.

Rich From Mich has made some outstanding versions of many of the Gamo line.

So I was shooting today and marvelling that my home tuned Big Cat actually outshot my TX200.

TX200 stock with BSA 6-24x44 scope. I got the scope used and the TX was a month or so old so I've got about $525 into this rig.

BC I got on a deal at Gander Mountain for $99. I got a 6-24x50 illuminated mil dot from Deal Extreme for about $54 shipped. I home tuned with a Macarri spring and Apex seal. I think another $35 or so. Installed a new gold trigger about $32. Grand total about $220.

At 25 yards I was stacking CPLs on top of each other. TX was no slouch but more like clovers and strings. The BC is shooting at 825-850 fps. About 75 fps slower than the TX.

I'll say this though that the BC downright sucked out of the box. I shot it about a dozen times and put it away for about 8 months. It twanged and bucked all over the place. Post tune it was a different rifle. Twang was replaced with thunk.

I can't believe how accurate this rifle is!

From what I've read about the gun and guessing that the ultimate tune could include a target quality barrel, I'd have to say a CFX. I think the smooth shot cycle of an ultimate tune and the accuracy of a fixed target barrel would be hard to beat.
Edit:
Of course it would also have a wood stock, the GTX-G2 trigger and be topped off with a nice scope.

In my mind, the ultimate tune would be a collaboration of several top tuners. Each one doing what he does best to the gun. The end result being the "ultimate Gamo".
