On top of that no warrant or anything. He's lucky she wasn't armed. How many times have breakins occured and perps were impersonating the Police? His butt will be sued no doubt.

What a jackass...... I can tell you this much if he had done that in my home he probably would have never left, at least alive anyways. Even a cop would not do that unless he had a damn good reason and had a search warrant or suspected someone in the home was either injured or under attack or something serious. That guy should never be allowed to work for the city again. What did he think because she failed to mow her lawn that gives him the right to just barge in? What an *******....peace

In a country full of guns and people who are ready and willing to use them I think it was a pretty dumb thing to do. It looks like his being an ex-cop may have given him a bit of bravado but it sure looks like an easy way to get shot to me. I know I would not take kindly to find a stranger walking around in my house, even during the day it would meet with an aggressive response, you just do not enter someones home uninvited, unless you are a police officer and have a search warrant. Pretty dumb move in my books, Neil.
