Matt Cain, of the San Francisco Giants, pitched the first perfect game in the team's history last night. He also had 14 strikeouts, tying Sandy Koufax for the most strikeouts in a perfect game. There were two spectacular catches that were made in the outfield

I watched the Orioles and Red Sox about a month ago play a game that lasted 18 innings and the O's first baseman wound up being the winning pitcher.

Both teams pitched through their bullpen and started sending position players to the mound . Hadn't happened since 1925 if I remember correctly.

I can share your enthusiasm on this one, being a lifelong Orioles fan, I sure does love me some baseball!
