Around 35 shots in the guns sweet spot. It drops off fast around 1200 psi and is erratic when overfilled. I guess I need to pick up an HDD now and see if I can get it to 50 shots around 950 fps. I will test what pellets it likes here in a little while, I have to give the gf a break she is annoyed that I am shooting an unshrouded gun in the house lol.

I don't have a chrono, so don't know the fps, but it must be close to what you're getting. I can fill to 2100 psi, shoot fifty times without any significant change in POI, and still show about 1200 psi on the rifle gauge. I shoot at 25 yds, and all shots are within 1/4" in elevation.

Maybe it has something to do with our first names.

As for the noise, I shoot outside and worry about the neighbors. I whipped up a moderator using 3/4" copper pipe, some countersunk washers, one flat washer, some plastic from a soda bottle for spacing and to prevent damage to the stock muzzle brake, and a cylindrical rare earth magnet. Total investment is less than $5. I slip it on to shoot and off to refill. Subjectively, it reduces the noise by 3/4.

This gun LOVES Crosman Premier Hollowpoints, RWS Super Points are also fairly accurate out of it, the cheap Daisy wadcutters punch a pretty little hole but shot .75 inches at 30 feet. I need to get a pellet sampler from Straight Shooters and see if I can find some other pellets the gun likes, although having the CPHP's locally is pretty handy.

That looks good.
If it was me, I would not mess with it.

but I have some Predators in 22 that I shoot out of the 392 and they are the most accurate pellet I have in 22 cal for that gun. I will probably try to pick up some Penetrators and Kodiaks in 177 to try out with this thing.

Except for the HDD, RJ machine long riser breech and a full shroud.

Only I converted mine to a .25. Gun is still stock except for the caliber conversion. Here's a 35 shot string with a 2000psi fill shooting 25.0 grain Penetrators.

Funny thing is, it didn't shoot this good as a .22. Go figure!

I have the same gun. I have an itch to mess around with it but it shoots amazing as is. My gun shoots those exact numbers and will easily shoot under .25 center to center at 25 meters with either CP's light or CPHP's. I did put a lighter spring in the trigger. The only other mod I have done is I refinished the stock and now it is beautiful.

I am not messing with mine... THERE... I said it and I am good with it.

and the two screw mod but the ports and hammer spring are all factory. I will build a power adjuster and install an hdd to get some more shots out of it at the same power. I may end up with a 22 cal barrel but still unsure about that.
