1250 refurb (that I had to send back) that sure looked like walnut. On the Gamo website it says they use walnut and beech for their stocks. What is it, luck of the draw? Any of you guys ever get one that might be walnut?

Apparently they were in a different file. If you remember it has an exceptional stock and you can even see how nice it looks with the crappy pictures. Though I'm still not sure weather it is walnut or beech:













Once again sorry for the crappy pictures, but it definatly looks better in real life and the other side of the stock has an even better grain.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Better than a Plain Jane wlanut stock, IMHO. There's nothing like a good figured piece of wood.
