I asked them if their JSB Heavy 10.38 Pellet had changed along with the tin, to dispell the controversy among us and this is their reply.



Dear David,

Thank you for your e-mail. I really appreciate your effort in getting the
information for your colleagues.

Actually the only thing that changed was the labels. The pellets inside the
tins are still the same. The weight of the pellets as well as the shape and
dimensions are identical with the pellets sold under the old Gray labels.

reading on the forum about pellets, it seems the only ones that are the same are from one single batch, and after that, different dies or so many other factors can affect how consistent pellet production is.

at least not with the .177 JSB express. I have found them very consistant from batch to batch and in their performance and i shot 25,000 rounds of them last year from different batches and with different colored tins.
