I have currently tuned my CF-X.
But after apply in MINIMAL lubes it still Diesels bad.

I think I need to pull the load in port. And clean any lubes
from around and on it. I've put 25 shot through it
and it's still dieseling.....Smoke from the barrel and all.

It was my fault as I put too much on the it the first time.
I pulled it down and wipe all but a small amount off.
But it had little effect. It's still dieseling.

Thanks.

If you remove the loading block you WILL need a new O ring as removing it will destroy the O ring. Also when you install the piston do it with out ANY lube in the compression tube as any lube you have in the tube will end up causing the rifle to smoke and bang for a long time.

If the lube is correctly applied behind the piston seal and piston it will lube itself the first time you fire the rifle.

Got the dieseling to stop. After 100 shots or so.
No more smoke, and no more smell.
And decided to shoot it over the chrony.

The thing shoot VERY sporadic.
740's for 5-10 shot's then up to 820's for 25 or shots.
Then it works it self back to mid 750's.

This is happening with all pellets.
7.9 with the number above.

It's LOST velocity with the tune kit?
Maybe the seal is bad?

Maybe the spring? I've ordered a new spring and seal.
We'll see what happens then.
I've tuned a B-26, and a HW97.
Neither had issues like this?
