.
....1/6 or even a 1/4 scale machine. The RC model I'll be ordering is 1/16 scale.

Here it is, painted for Rommel's North Africa campaign:

...I really appreciate those 5 connected videos describing the various tanks in the North Africa campaigns (German, British, Italian, and American), illustrating their firepower, armor protection, and mobility.

Yes, the German Tiger 1 was the champ for firepower and armor protection, although its great weight made it less mobile than the British and American tanks.

Thanks for a great informative post!

of tank videos.

don't worry about 1/12 (tigers in the desert), joe gave that to you in the 1-5 (10 mins.) format.

2/12 through 8/12 are full episodes, 45 minutes plus.

for some reason, whomever uploaded these decided to do 9/12 to 12/12 in the 10 mins. format instead of the full episodes. hey, they're free, so what the hay, hay.

be warned, some of the audio in some of these vids., is really low (that free thing again), so the volume has to be cranked up.
DON'T forget to lower your volume when you go to next vid. in case it's better.

in the SCADS, of war 2 docs i've seen in my life, the ones below are just about the best, imo. if you haven't seen them, i don't believe you'll be disappointed. there are 18 hours in the complete doc., i don't know if the whole thing is on youtube.

under the title of the vid., you'll see a tab saying
"548 videos" (there isn't).
that tab just has the rest of the vids for this part of the series.

DO NOT, bother w/ 1/12.

nbc had it pulled because of some content they claimed copyright.
give me a break, like those a$$holes are going to hurt over a few minutes of video. the big three are going down the tubes anyway, good riddance.

they are in 10 mins. in length but, there are bunches on the sidebars of even more of the series. you can also subscribe.
i don't have a clue if it costs, but why bother w/ all of youtube to play on.

ok man, this ought to have you going for awhile and w/ all the side bar stuff on every one of the vids, you should be set until at least two or three, cows come home.

absolutely no thanks are required, i much prefer, MOOOOLAHHHH.

adios.

Besides that British accent of the narrator gives the program a more serious tone.

I like the voice better of the Battlefield I series than the Battlefield II, though both good voices.

Also the "The World at War" series are awesome, for us WWII junkies anyway.
