Power adjuster is way of adjusting the hammer spring tension from outside the gun. Can be simple or ornate, but basically it's a threaded rod through the end cap (it's already drilled/tapped for a degassing tool) and a spring guide rod inside the gun (running through the hammer spring). Adjust the threaded rod in (will have a knob on it) and it increases the tension on the hammer spring...which would make the hammer smack the valve harder. Van be a fancy replacement unit for the end cap, or use the existing end cap. By fiddling with spring tension, can increase or decrease the vel. and the number of shots per fill....somewhere in there there is an optimum setting that gives good consistancy, power, and shot count.

HDD would be a "debouncer". Idea is that when the hammer smacks the valve stem, it tends to bounce...the air it releases on the second (or third) bounce doesn't contribute to pellet vel, it just bleeds off air. They are one piece poly units (at least most of them) that fit inside the gun, and will limit the ability of the hammer to bounce back (they also tend to increase friction a bit, which decreases the hammer's hit on the valve....but if you do the power adjuster mod above, that's not real important). You really don't do this mod for power, you do it for more shots per fill.
