What's the general take on these for 12 ft. lb. guns? I was certain that I'd read some glowing reviews, but can't remember where. So far I'm not impressed with the ones I have. The wind just eats them alive in 3 of my TX's. One gun seems to have a fair grouping at 27 yards, but it got dark before I tried 55 yards. The other 2 guns were sort of hard to get anything resembling a group at 27 and keeping them on paper at 55 was almost futile. Cliff, if you read this, I'll sell you the remaining 450 or so for a real discount. I realize 50 pellets in 3 guns isn't much of a test, but they were really so bad I didn't need 10 shots in one gun.

That I've tried them in seem to like them. Most of them have been Chinese Springers, but I haven't had any luck with my LW barrels. The spring guns I used were all 12fpe and under, hit or miss. Sniper mediums grouped fair in almost all of them, but only really well in a couple. The sniper light was horrible in any gun I tried!

A HW 97K and they were terrible, even sorted and weighed. Yet, they are the go to pellet for my modified Crosman 1720T competition pistol. It is just shy of 12fpe at 11.58 fpe.

They fly perfect from that LW barrel. The barrel is around 14" and that short barrel and manufacture might be the difference.

Now that said, I noted a large amount of the tin having distorted skirts! I mean bad!

It should be noted that the Air Arms 8.4 pellets are just as good in this gun, and all other 12 fpe rifles I own....Just saying....?

It's a hit or miss thing with these pellets, in a lot of different guns as well as barrels. It also depends on the lot #, as well as when they were manufactured.
I shoot these in my 12 ft. Lb. Marauder set up for WFTF PCP division. The original ones that I competed with in the 2016 Pyramyd Air Cup, shot deadly out of it, and ate the wind up at the longer distances. When everyone was holding 3 inches out of the kill zone, I was aiming left or right edge, not even an inch. Recorded second highest score of that competition.
Unfortunately, the quality of those pellets went downhill after that, they had a lot of flaws on the domes, when looked at under a magnifying glass. They are slowly getting better, but not as good as that original batch. All of my springers and all guns I have with Lothar Walther barrels do not like them. My Marauder and 1720T love them.
One difference that I have noticed, is, the original batch also had much larger skirts as compared to the ones produced now.
If you take a look at my video on my Field Target Tech Channel, I compare Sniper Mediums out of my Marauder vs. Air Arms out of my Steyr. Each of those groups was 30 shots.
Hope this helps shed some light,
