Dirt/Hog waste,Very good area for sparrow hunting,they eat the seeds in the poop^^^

You have a beutiful place to live and explore.

I had a grandfather that had 40 acres of wooded and some grass land south of me that I grew up hunting and camping on in the woods. He has passed now and the land is being sold, I wish I had the money or the chance to go back in time to live those times.

had your FOID card and your hunting license cause maybe we could set up a hunt or something. I also live in Illinois and I just received and Email from the DNR saying that all slamm game and furbearring animals can be taken with a Airgun. Just not birds and deer (excluding,pidgeons,grackles,redwings,crows,english sparrow,starlings).

but i still have to buy my liscense(ill get it this weekend) but i dought my parents will let you...sorry,they really are cauitios of this internet stuff,but i would love to get together and hunt if they let me...

really enjoyed those pictures. I live in the city pretty much and day dream almost everyday about a place just like in your pictures.

You didn't say you were shooting them, but did mention them as pests.

They mostly eat pest insects like locusts etc, and are protected under the migratory bird act.
