We had exceptionally good weather. Started out cool, but warmed up pretty quick and the wind wasn't too bad. There were only 6 shooters in 3 classes. Harold Rushton made it down and was top shooter overall and in the WFTF class with a score of 54/60. Ray Barnett and Alex came up and both did well on what is a tough course. Jim Baumann started the match, but had to quit after 5 lanes. He hasn't been feeling well lately. Hope you are better now Jim.

Roz hasn't eased up on the course setup, since the State match. Don't know what the Troyer rating is, but it's got to be pretty high. I got to shoot with Harold and thoroughly enjoyed it. Roz Sumpter finished tops in the Open class with a score of 46/60 and I managed to get second in the Open class with a decent score of 40/60. Ray Barnett was 3rd in the Open class with a score of 35/60. This was his first try in this class. Alex was the only shooter in the Hunter class and had a good score of 31/60.

We will shoot the 1st scheduled match in 2017 this coming Saturday, March 11, 2017. The Good Ole Boy's normally shoot on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Sight-in range will open at 8AM and the match will start at 9AM. We are located on Hardy Road at Roz's Hollow, just about 5 miles south of Pulaski, TN.

The Invicta range is scheduled to begin the year on March 25, 2017 (The 4th Saturday of each month). They are located on the Minor Hill Highway just south of Minor Hill, TN. The range is just about a mile west of the fairgrounds.
