Have one in the shop that has a broken spring, use which JM spring and which piston seal???

I don't remember what the ID is of the factory spring, but you should be able to use the E3650 spring and I think it's the small Apex seal. The spring may need some spacing to get full power, not sure.

Or you could probably just order up a Quest spring and seal from Crosman.
JM's Tarantula spring will also work, but it will probably need a bigger guide made to fit it.

used a spring from the B-26 and a B-18 seal, did 865 with crosman HP's so it's going good again. The spring I took out was in three pieces and the seal had a big chunk burned out of it, owner had been putting oil in the chamber to get more power. After a good spanking he promised not to do that anymore...

Guess I should have thought of the B-18 connection. I should have known you'd probably have everything you needed in the shop to fix up a Gamo. And 865 isn't bad at all. Sounds like another job well done, Mike!

Oil huh? Maybe he just liked the look of the smoke coming out of the barrel! LOL! Yep, a good spankin' is what some need to be brought around to the reality of spring gun shooting.
