SO my farmer buddy has a chipmunk problem. Bunch of buildings for them to occupy and the old house has a stone foundation which somehow they find ways to get into the house. So I set up out by the bird feeder with the Tarantula in .22 with a Simmons 6.5-20X44mm set on 8x with JSB 16s going around 850fps. I'm about 25 yds from the bird feeder. 4 shots and 4 kills. With one sighter previous to all this. Since she's sat dormant for almost a year. Poor tarantula. Wish I had pics of her. She's a real beauty, and laser accurate.

I have one in a .177. They do shoot well.

That's 16 shots in a dime at 28 yards.

50 yards.

<font size="3.5" color="#000000" face="Arial, Helvetica">in 22 that amazes me every time I shoot it.

In fact, all my older FX's make me smile (walnut Tarantula 22, walnut Timberwolf 2-shot 22, old single shot Typhoon 22 that's like the old Logun Solo).

My single shot UK made Webley Raider in 22, & my old school 22 Webley Venom Viper 2-shot are of the same design & just as nice to shoot.

Sometimes I think I'd like to sell them & try a new FX, like an Impact or a Royale, but then I take them out & shoot them & the idea of selling them fades away...go figure

My Excaliber, same action, not as nice a stock, is set up with the same pellet and velocity. That combo has shot under a 1/5" @ 50 yds, for 3 shots. Very accurate gun.
