today, mike's B26 shot 50 out of 60 and tied me for 2nd overall at the DIFTA fun shoot (with a centerpoint 4-16AO, and CPLs).

i was hoping to get into the 40s.

imagine what that gun could do if i was a good shooter

Awesome shooting!

Coincidentally a few hours ago I was answering a post on another forum for someone asking an inexpensive rifle to start FT shooting. He was asking about a TF97 but I told him he should get a B26 and a Wallyworld Centerpoint scope with mildots and shoot piston hunter class. I said that for under $200 he could have a respectable combo that would press his skills.

Looks like you just proved it!

Andy Wong aka larspawn

make sure to tell him to have mike melick do his magic on it. doesn't need to be a super-tune, just a 'once-over'

i don't think i've shot another gun since this one arrived!

Anywhere around NoVa? Whatever you do, guys, don't post this on the Dianawerk! We've got a string running where some say not even a Diana 48 will really do. Must have that AA or HW77 with $1000 worth of accessories, LOL! Glad to see some folks are keeping it real!

i had been practicing at home and emailing chuck jordan and ed canoles, and both of them shoot at DIFTA. finally, ed told me to turn off the computer and get myself to DIFTA, so i did--about five months ago. been shooting there steady so far.

it's about 185 mile RT, but joe McD drives farther than that to run the show for us.

i'm in bealeton, va

pretty easy to follow the directions. easy if you start out on I-270.

it's a really nice place. gonna be crowded on oct 18/19, though.

if you can get there friday oct 17 it'll be less crowded and no official activity other than helping set up

see you there?
