My .22 Mrod is changing POI despite fantastic accuracy using 18.1 JSB. At 35 yards it will deliver match head accuracy..dead on.. and then suddenly with the next shot move about 1/2 inch right. Always to right of my standard sight in. If I stop at that point and refill it will move back to left again for a number of shots. It must be related to the fill in some way, but is there a way to solve the problem? Would glass bedding the rear most portion of the tube and free floating the forward portion tend to resolve these issues?

How fast is your Mrod throwing those JSBs? They don't like to be shot very fast. At 920 FPS in my 22 Mrod with 5.52 JSB hevies, I get comparable results to the 5.53 barracudas at 25 yards with almost one hole groups.

Thanks Lee. The velocity is running about 825fps. On the day that wrote the original thread, (two days ago), I was shooting at pellet size dots at 35yds. I obliterated two consecutive dots with direct hits and when shooting at the third one the shot hit about 1/2" right. I followed up with four more shots at that target for a one hole five shot group that measured .3" ctc. 1/2" right. It's accurate, I just can't depend on the POI. This was in near dead calm conditions.

using a single shot tray. I have (had) a magazine that would not index properly on the 5th hole. Every 5th shot using the magazine would be erratic. It's worth a try

and have been using a single shot tray for some time. So that issue had already been eliminated.Accuracy definitely improved with the single shot tray. Thanks for the thought
