17501 Pomona Rincon Road, Chino, CA (909) 597-4794 ý google for directions from your location.
open, piston, hunter and pistol (shot on same course)
17.00 entry fee (Prado gets 15)
8:00 for settup (i appreciate the help)
9:00 sight in and practice
9:30 ish match starts
newbies will be matched with an experienced shooter.
As an aside, I am working on a new venue. Our March match may be staged at the new venue which is at Heavens Ranch in Chino Hills only a few miles from
Prado. We will have a range of our own with no competing with other shooters for space. Our fees will be a little better as well. What we will give up is
covered shooting line, lockers and tables that we have at Prado. BUT we won't be treated like a step child. I will keep the members posted.
NOTE: GOOD IDEA TO BRING YOUR OWN SIGHT IN/ PRACTICE TARGETS SINCE OUR WIRE TARGET FRAMES SEEM TO HAVE DISAPPEARED. NOT SURE WHO HAS THEM BUT LAST MATCH THEY WERE NOT THERE. I BRING A COUPLE OF BOXES AND RESITTABLES BUT NOT ENOUGH.

Is paper based stuff most useful for people or would something like a Steel Plinkers quadrant or spinners help out and/or be accurate enough for dialing in scopes?17501 Pomona Rincon Road, Chino, CA (909) 597-4794 ý google for directions from your location.

i have started aquiring some steel plinkers as well. i can add some intermediate distances. also, it is difficult for me to see shots on paper at 50-55yds and so a 1.25" quad works well for me there. for my primary zero i prefer paper.
normally i bring a target box with four bulls on it. I can share that with another shooter or two as long as they respect my side of the target box. I think thats reasonable. I would prefer people don't shoot my steel plinkers because i use the pellet marks to see where i am and don't want to be confused by other shots.
