Pulled the top cover off the breech, but can't figure out how the stop works to shorten the incoming travel of the pellet. Did a search, but all the postings w/o pictures did not seem to address the forward travel. I'm Clueless.

Don:

Looks like You have the info.

Just out of curiosity, what are you trying to get to load?
I have been able to load a cast bullet that is .420 long but nothing shorter.

Whoops, you might have trouble with those 9MM slugs I suggested. Regards, Tom

I just got my Career 707 II carbine and adjusted it to accept shorter AA 13.4 pellets.
The gun had been previously set for much longer pellets.
After you remove the receiver cover you need to loosen the small phillips screw which will allow you to slide the adjustment ramp. Insert a pellet to use as a guide you may have to slightly manipulate the cocking level just enough to allow the plate on the adjustment ramp to move. Once the pellet is inserted, position the pellet skirt flush with the opening in the plate and tighten the phillips screw.
You now should have the proper clearance the use the shorter pellets.
