Are the specs about the same as the QB79?FPS? Same stock? Thinking about getting 1 for my Uncle (instead of 2240 carbine) because if its like my QB79 and shoots the gamo balls pretty good it would a heck of alot easier for him to load, as I saw him having a little trouble loading my 2240, and it does'nt really take the balls well.

Pepper,

Muzzle velocity for the CAR78a carbine is about the same as for the QB79 in factory condition. Although the shorter barrel reduces muzzle velocity, I fit the carbine with our improved breech seal as standard and that brings the muzzle velocity back up. Accuracy is improved compared to a factory QB79 due to the standard muzzle brake on the carbine.

Currently the CAR78a is out of stock as we're awaiting parts, but I'm hoping that it will be available again soon (within a few weeks) following our next delivery of parts from the Shanghai factory.

Is there a discount for ordering my 3rd ag from Archer Ag in relatively recent history? If I ordered 1, would recieving it before June 1st be a "for sure"?

Pepper,

We try to offer the best prices we can. We also offer free shipping on orders over $197 and occasional sale discounts. But I'm afraid there's very little room for further discounts. Margins are thin in the airgun business...
