This is as good as I can make an issue stock look. Stripped, slightly stained, truOil finish with reflection cut by rubbing compound. Grip is strippled, ebony stained, and Danish Oil tooth burshed into the strippling.

Morgan adjustable butt plate jacked out by two cut donuts of black PVC tubing filled with epoxy putty and longer butt plate screws.

Rifle is converted to HPA use by way of a QB79 gas block and a 13CI HPA bottle.

Been a couple of years, still looks about the same, so its a long-lasting stock job.

The old method takes a lot more time and gives a different texture to the stippled surface.

Steps:
#1. Make a tool:
Find an old large size beat up Phillips screw driver. With a Dremel tool. Cut along the notches on the tip until you have 4 free standing points.

Sharpen each of the 4 points into a pyramid shape with a slightly blunt tip. Each strike of this tool will make 4 little sipples.

Use:
Hold the tool near the tip tightly in your left hand.

Small hammer (or a length of wood)needs to be about like a tack hammer.

Short/sharp rap to the tool.

Give the tool a slight turn and over lap between strikes.

(If you gripped tightly near the tip, your hand will kind of automatically retract the tool, ready for another tap as fast as you can give it. Get into a groove, and you can sound like a crazed woodpecker.)
