So I've set up my USFT #39 for bench rest - I tried the FX Royale but it only really likes 18 grn JSB's and prefers to shoot them at 30 ft lbs
so that rifle isn't an option.

1st time out and am practicing for it's first match coming up.

.22 barrel shooting 790 fps 14 gr JSB Express pellets - right at 19.5 ft lbs

Wearing a big Nikko Scope

A few questions -

Do rifles get choreographed at matches like in FT ?

Am I limited to the scope power setting at all ? like in Hunter FT ie. x12 magnification only ?

am I allowed to adjust the scope during the match ?

What weight should the rig be ie. is there a max weight ?

It seems like there are several sets of rules and different benchrest groups, federations and organizations

I am shooting at 25M outdoors with wind flags off a front sand bag - can I use a second bag up front - ie. 2 bags on top of each other ?

and can the rear stock also be then supported by a sand bag.

Thanx in advance.

I assume your shooting HV , you must be 20 fpe guns will be checked with your pellets , 15# limit , any power scope and you can adjust power . front rest.Or bag , rear bag , . If you would like to share my rest and rear bag let me know if you have a Mac 1 plate on your USFT it should fit my set up fine . .

We will have extra rests and bags on hand. We will have 5 more benches added on. This means there will be 2 relays. We will finish up early enough for those who have traveled to get back home at a reasonable time.
