<p>I'm still of the opinion that the WWI generation of prop driven planes were the best looking planes ever built.</p><p> </p><p>Helps temper the knowledge that 10s of thousands of men, on both sides of the conflict, went to war, foguht and died in those same craft. </p><p>More debt we can never repay.... </p>

<p>first typed it as WWIII... got edit happy I suppose</p><p>The Fokkers were _tiny_ planes. And the WWI planers were cloth and wood... 5000 ft altitude and all thats between you and a very sudden stop is some straight grained hardwood and fabric with some paint on it.... </p>...some WWI warbirds were pretty sexy, too.
