They decided to see if it was possible to drop gear below enemy radar, settling it down with inverted rockets. The first test using a large block of concrete worked so well that they next tried a jeep. All went well until, at the last moment, the jeep rolled over. You can guess the rest. I'm sure the folks at NASA, being true rocket scientists, have that bug worked out. Do hope this comes off as planned. That rover wouldn't look bad at the beach, either.
