I probably won't be able to buy a barrel from this batch so I was wondering if you are going to be making another batch or if I could tell you when I have some spare money for a barrel so you could get another one ready?

Best Regards,
Justin

much are they, Rich. I'm lazy when it comes to going to the classifieds. BTW, how are the CFX load port levers coming?

$75.00 for the Barrels, they are Choked Walther Barrels 17 inches long, with a cold blue finish.
Nobody around here does hot blue and the cost to ship them and be blued is to much.

I am working on the loading port lever, the first 12 I didn't like and threw them away. I need to make a better jig to hold them better, and working on that now.

The hardest thing I have found out is getting the pivot bolt out, once the pivot/barrel is free it's easy to change the barrel, the bushing for the pivot is what keeps the barrel from unscrewing. Just clamp the barrel in a vise (I have a sleeve that slips over the stock barrel to keep it from getting marred) You send the sleeve back for the next guy.
heat the pivot block a little with a propane torch and unscrew the .177 barrel.
A drop of blue locktite and screw the 20 barrel in, you don't even have to mess with the breach seal it stays in the pivot block and seats itself when you screw in the new barrel.

Very accurate, here's what the winchester did.

My Shadow with the .20 barrel is tuned with a JM spring and crony's at 815's with 11.4 FTS's

The Winchester 1000 SB pumps the 11.4 FTS's in the 860's
