I bought and installed the SteveNC Supersear a while back. It works well, but it always bothered me that the 1st stage would not return. I came up with an idea to fix that:

It works very well, and makes me happy. You just need a small tension spring, drill a hole in the swell of the trigger and file away a litte of the brace to the bottom screw post. Only took a few minutes and did not add too much to the trigger pull. This along with a thin shim at the trigger post makes for a really nice trigger!

at Handyman springs SP-5719
the spring is like the sear spring that in the old SSP-250 and it is the starting point on all of my 2240 triggers mods

a lighter spring, but then I get misfires. Rather be a little heavier pull than be unsafe.

2400/2350 adjustable sear spring. Light or heavy....your choice.
